Today I am sharing a collection of juletags I made with all of the sweetest characters released in the winter/jul collection.
I stamped and colored the individual images and then fussy cut them. I used the new Lawn Fawn tag dies to die cut the tags themselves. (The dies will be available soon at Hobbykunst!)
I colored the background lightly with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I cut a little snow mound for the character to sit on and attached the top frame to the tag.
I die cut the covering for the hole from red cardstock and glued it on to the card. I recommend using a very strong wet glue to adhere it as the string or ribbon will rub along it when it moves.
I then used some foam tape to attach each character to the tags. You don’t need to use foam tape but I liked the 3D effect of it better than them lying flat on the tag.
I added some Wink of Stella glitter pen as the shadow for the figures. Snow glitters so these cuties should too!
Last but not least, I added some highlights to the bear with a white gel pen and more Wink of Stella to the big heart he is holding.
Christmas tags personalized for everyone!
See you tomorrow for another version of a juletag and a tutorial on how I colored a character (with step by step pictures).
